Ryan Mason has confirmed that Harry Kane will start for Tottenham Hotspur against Aston Villa tomorrow, while speaking to Football London.
Kane’s future has been the subject of much debate over the last 48 hours, after Sky Sports suggested that he has told Spurs that he wants to leave.
However, Mason has said that Kane certainly hasn’t told him of that desire.
And the striker will be in Tottenham’s starting line-up to face off against Dean Smith’s side this evening.
“I think he starts tomorrow,” Mason said.
“Because he’s our best striker, and one of the best strikers in the world. I’ve said all along, and I’ve been pretty consistent in my messages to you guys, whether that’s about my future, whether that’s about management, managers for next season, the facts are that I’m here for the next two games.”
Kane is sure to get a roaring reception from the Tottenham supporters in attendance.
Spurs fans will be hoping that this isn’t the final time that they get to watch Kane in their shirt at home.

The striker has unquestionably been their Player of the Season and has enjoyed one of the best campaigns of his career.
Kane has big motivation to try and hit the back of the net, as he is still chasing the Premier League golden boot.
At the moment Kane is locked on 22 goals with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah at the top of the charts.
If Tottenham are able to win they could actually mathematically keep their hopes of breaking into the top four alive, although that would require other results to go in their favour.
