Glenn Hoddle has said on Premier League Productions that Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was looking disgruntled when he came off against Chelsea.

Arsenal got the better of Chelsea 1-0 away from home at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

Aubameyang provided the assist for Emile Smith Rowe to score the only goal of the match in the 16th minute.

The Gabon international striker started the match, and manager Mikel Arteta decided to take him off and bring on Alexandre Lacazette.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Hoddle has said that Aubameyang was not too happy when he was being taken off.

Hoddle said about Aubameyang on Premier League Productions: “He is disappointed, but I think in his heart he has got to know it was the right tactical thing, if Lacazette is the man he is bringing on. He shows his disgruntlement there, but every player hates coming off.”

No player wants to come off, especially a striker.

Aubameyang has not had a great season, but against Chelsea, he played a big role in the goal that Arsenal scored.

The 31-year-old striker would have loved to carry on playing in an effort to score, but Arteta made the change that he thought was the right one.

While the former Borussia Dortmund striker would have been disappointed when he was coming off, he would surely have been happy that his side got all all three points.

Aubameyang has scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 24 Premier League starts, and scored three goals and gave one assist in eight Europa League appearances for Arsenal this season.
