Liverpool fans have seemingly become frustrated with Naby Keita after Jurgen Klopp shared that he has ‘no rhythm’ ahead of their showdown with Tottenham tonight, as he told the club’s website.

The energetic midfielder has struggled with form, fitness and sharpness throughout his time at Anfield.

Whilst Keita could return to Liverpool’s squad in a few hours time, some fans believe the time has passed for their £48 million signing to prove his worth [BBC Sport].

But he hasn’t been able to string enough games together to showcase his worth to the Liverpool supporters, hence his current lack of fitness.

In years gone by, the likes of Adam Lallana, Xherdan Shaqiri, Daniel Sturridge and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlian have all struggled with the same problems, but Klopp has stuck by his players.

So, whilst a selection of Liverpool fans believe it’s time for Keita to move on next summer, it would seem that the man in the Anfield dugout will continue to persist with him.

But Keita needs to start producing the goods quickly because, as Curtis Jones is proving in the middle of the park, he is pushing ahead of him and before he knows it there will be too many bodies in front of him to dethrone.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of Liverpool fans reacting to Klopp’s comments about Keita:
