Jamie O’Hara has praised Thomas Frank for the job he has done at Brentford by claiming that he ‘should be at Tottenham’.
Over the weekend, Ivan Toney-less Brentford rocked up to Stamford Bridge and recorded a 2-0 win over Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea.
Ex-Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara thinks Thomas Frank is a manager who ‘always delivers’ and ‘what a manager’ he must be to play for, as he told Sky Sports News.
Of course, Spurs have Ange Postecoglou in the dugout. Sitting top of the Premier League table and their fans wouldn’t change him for anyone.
But could someone like Thomas Frank be managing a team in Europe sooner rather than later because he has done a stellar job at Brentford?

“I mean what a manager,” said O’Hara. “You could see the players want to play for him. He always delivers and he has a really good side.
“Brentford aren’t one of the biggest clubs in the world. What fifth biggest club in London? Fair play to them. They rock up the Stamford Bridge. They are confident.
“But you can see. They are together. Fighting for each other. They know what it means to play for Thomas Frank and Brentford. He knows how to get the best out of players.
“What a job he has done. What a manager to play for. To be at a team like Brentford. Thomas Frank, let’s be honest, he should be at Spurs. He should be at a top club. He is a top manager. Brentford are lucky to have him. He keeps producing for them week in and week out.”

It needs to be noted that the London club are swamped in a city full of high, high-quality teams.
Not only that, Brentford don’t spend big like most of the Premier League and they also have one of the smallest budgets in the division.
Yet, they have stabilised themselves in the Premier League, finished just outside Europe last season, and beat Treble-winners Man City home and away during the 2022/23 campaign.
Plus, Frank isn’t afraid to mix up their style of play. Whether it’s being aggressive and going direct. Or passing their way through teams.
Either way, it’s entertaining for the neutrals and it makes the man in Brentford’s dugout one of the most underrated coaches in the league.
