Patrick Bamford told Saturday Social on Sky Sports that his Leeds United teammate, Stuart Dallas, can ‘run all day’.
A player that perhaps epitomises Leeds as a team, Dallas can showcase his qualities anywhere on the pitch and he’s someone who has an engine worthy of competing at the Le Mans 24-hour race.
Leeds only paid £2 million for his services (Sky Sports) and given the Northern Irishman’s rise in recent years, that is one hell of a bargain now.
And when Bamford was asked who has the most stamina in the Leeds team, he put Dallas’ name forward.
“He can play everywhere, pretty much,” said Bamford. “He can run all day.
“You need a different kind of fitness playing winger, fullback, centre mid or whatever. And he seems to do it all.”

As a whole, Leeds are perhaps the fittest team in the Premier League and a big reason as to why they are heading for a potential top ten finish.
Whether Leeds are losing 2-0 away from home or have scored the opening goal with five minutes remaining, they will still outrun and outwork their opponents and it’s something that has become a trademark under Marcelo Bielsa.
But with Leeds preparing for another season in England’s top-flight, it will be interesting to see where their all-action style takes them because it won’t be too long before calls for Europe will be heard around Elland Road.
