Some Leeds United fans on social media have been reacting after ESPN linked them with a move for Noussair Mazraoui.
The Moroccan full-back has been one of Ajax’s stars in recent years, but his contract is up next summer and he could be on the move for free.
Of course, in January he’ll be free to talk to other clubs and Leeds are apparently very keen on the defender.
As you can imagine, United fans are buzzing to hear that they’re after a player of this calibre, and they’ve taken to social media to react.
Some genuinely can’t believe that their club are in for a player like this, but, let’s not forget, Leeds are in the Premier League now, they can go after big names like this.
Mazraoui is an excellent attacking full-back, and one fan even brought up the fact that he caused Real Madrid plenty of problems during Ajax’s 4-1 win against Los Blancos a few years back.
Unfortunately for the Whites, they face competition from Arsenal for this signing, but if he did end up coming to Elland Road, this is a signing that would be wholeheartedly welcomed by the fanbase.
