Tottenham are interested in Ajax attacker Davy Klaassen.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked to Ajax playmaker Davy Klaassen, with The Telegraph reporting they are keen on a deal.
Klaassen, 24, will play in the Europa League final this week when he will be hoping to add to his tally of 16 goals and 10 assists for the season.
The Mail report Klaassen would cost at least £21 million, a not unreasonable fee for a player who has shown remarkable consistency for the Dutch giants over the past few seasons.
Ajax star Davy Klaassen
Klaassen has Tottenham attacker Christian Eriksen to thank for his rise to prominence, stepping into the void left by the Dane when he was sold to Spurs in 2013.
The Dutchman plays in the same position behind the striker as Eriksen, and has delivered on his promise to emulate the Spurs ace.
He told AD in 2013: “It’s hard to compare. Obviously, I do not have Eriksen’s level yet, but I want to do that.”

Four years on Klaassen has made good progress. He has scored 55 goals for Ajax in comparison to the 32 Eriksen netted for the club.
A move this summer would come at the right time and the Europa League final could be his swansong.
Christian Eriksen does not need replacing at Spurs but the club are clearly in the market for an alternative, with Ross Barkley and Gylfi Sigurdsson other names linked.
Klaassen could be the best of the trio, and could be a formidable rival for Tottenham’s playmaker, and add an extra threat for star man Harry Kane to benefit from.
