Paul Merson has suggested in SportsKeeda that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp should include Darwin Nunez in the starting lineup against Crystal Palace at Anfield next week.
Liverpool will take on Palace at Anfield in the Premier League next Monday.
The Reds will head into the match against the Eagles on the back of a 2-2 draw with Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage in London in the Premier League.
Summer signing Nunez did not start the match for Liverpool, but he came on as a substitute and was involved in the two goals that the Merseyside club scored.
Former Arsenal star Merson believes that Liverpool manager Klopp should have started the 23-year-old Uruguay international striker against Fulham.
The pundit has suggested that Nunez should start against Palace, adding that Liverpool will win the Premier League game 2-0.

Paul Merson on Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez
Merson wrote in SportsKeeda: “Darwin Nunez should’ve played from the start last week – he proved his mettle when he came on.
“Liverpool aren’t playing against a dominant team in Crystal Palace – midfield isn’t the biggest part of their game, but they can hurt you on the counter. I think Liverpool will win this game, but it’ll be a hard-fought match.”
Time to start
In our view, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp should include Darwin Nunez in the starting lineup against Crystal Palace.
The match will be played under the lights at Anfield, and the 23-year-old would really relish playing at the iconic stadium in front of his own club’s fans.
We have see the impact that Nunez has made as a substitute against Manchester City in the FA Community Shield and against Fulham in the Premier League.
Nunez creates all sorts of problems for the opposition with his movement, and he is also very good in front of goal.
