Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to reveal one thing they’d change about Kalvin Phillips, after watching him appear for the Under-23 side yesterday.
In the Under-23 side’s 1-0 win over Stoke, Phillips and Diego Llorente featured, with the latter scoring the game’s only goal after being assisted by the former.
However, supporters noticed one thing – the England international was wearing the No.4 shirt, instead of his first-team number, 23.
While this is only a minor detail, supporters were quick to start chatting about it on Twitter.
A handful of Leeds fans revealed they’d like Phillips to take the No.4 shirt on a regular basis, binning his No.23 shirt in the process.

Currently, the injured Adam Forshaw owns the No.4 shirt at Elland Road.
If Phillips did want possession of the 29-year-old’s number, he’d either have to request it, or wait until the Englishman leaves Leeds.
Forshaw’s contract expires in June 2022 – according to Transfermarkt – so the Leeds academy graduate won’t have to wait too long if he does want the No.4 shirt.

Regardless of whether he wants it or not, the Leeds fans on Twitter certainly want to see him adopt the number.
Purely just for aesthetics by the sounds of it!
Let’s see what they’ve been saying about the situation…
