Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left frustrated after the Athletic claimed that Daniel Levy has no intention of leaving his role.
Levy has faced loud calls to resign from Tottenham fans this week, after the news on the European Super League.
Spurs joined the Super League on Sunday only to withdraw on Tuesday after fierce backlash.
Levy expressed regret to supporters afterwards, but crucially didn’t apologise.
That has caused further frustration among Tottenham fans.
However, it seems that Levy has no intention of leaving his post, which has caused annoyance among the Tottenham fan base.
Levy will surely be desperate to see Tottenham win a trophy on Sunday in the League Cup final, to pick the mood of the fan base up again.
While a win at Wembley certainly won’t make Tottenham fans forget about Levy’s actions in the past week, it may take the spotlight off him for a while and improve the atmosphere around the club significantly.
