Darren Ambrose has urged West Ham United to sign Jesse Lingard this summer, alongside PSG forward, Mauro Icardi.
The former Crystal Palace player claimed that Lingard ‘needs to go to West Ham’, with his Manchester United contract due to expire at the end of this month.
The last time Lingard enjoyed any success was in the colours of West Ham, when he was on-loan at the London club, scoring nine goals in 16 games and helping them to the Europa League.

Rather than sign on the dotted line at the London Stadium for the following campaign, the 32-cap England international stayed put at Old Trafford.
It’s probably a decision he regrets now given the troubles Man United went through this season, but now he is on a free, Ambrose made it clear that there is only one place for him to go, as he told talkSPORT.
“I think potentially they need to sign another forward to help him (Antonio) and ease the pressure,” said Ambrose. “Icardi has been linked from PSG, he would be a good signing.
“Lingard, we don’t know what’s happening with Lingard, for me, the best move for him is to sign for West Ham. He needs to go to West Ham. That’s where he played his best stuff.
“He’s going to have takers, of course, because he is on a free. But that’s where he needs to go.”

WEST HAM SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM LINGARD
Just because Lingard served West Ham well the last time, it doesn’t mean it will work out again for the 29-year-old.
At the end of the day, those in the East London boardroom should look elsewhere and move on from the player, even if they can get him on a free.
Now, David Sullivan and David Gold love a free-transfer, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if Lingard is still on their transfer wishlist.
But, whilst the forward-thinking midfielder would provide depth for David Moyes as his team return to Europe next term, it’s an out-and-out striker that’s needed more than anything.
