The Aston Villa boss lost it with a player at Hull City according to the Scot.
Villa’s on-loan ace Robert Snodgrass sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and opened up on the moment when he witnessed Steve Bruce lose his temper…and it wasn’t pretty.
The 30-year-old winger joined Bruce’s side from West Ham on loan during the summer transfer window, impressing for the Villans, following a difficult spell with the Hammers, and he is beginning to endear himself to the Villa Park faithful, after chalking up two goals and two assists in 11 outings for the club thus far.
Snodgrass spent time under Bruce during his spell at Hull City, and it was during his stint on Humberside when he witnessed his current boss flip out.
The Scot sat down for an exclusive interview with AVFC.co.uk, and shared the moment when he witnessed Bruce lose his temper with an un-named Tigers player:
“I seen him once, a young left back, Scottish, went and said something to him once at Hull, and he nearly ripped his head off. I think that’s as far as I can tell you. He was angry.”

The Villa manager usually exudes a cool and composed aura, when on the touchline, and during his pre and post-match interviews.
Following Snodgrass’ words, however, there is obviously another side to Bruce’s character that the public do not often see.
