Clinton Morrison has said on Sky Sports News (1:55pm, March 18, 2023) that Jude Bellingham will join Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

The former Crystal Palace forward believes that Bellingham will leave Borussia Dortmund for Liverpool at the end of the season.

The Sky Sports pundit has urged Liverpool owners FSG to sign top players in the summer transfer window to help manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Athletic have reported that Liverpool are interested in signing the 19-year-old rising superstar from Dortmund.

Real Madrid and Manchester City are also keen on the England international midfielder, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Jude Bellingham backed to join Liverpool

Morrison said, as transcribed by TBR: “They have to start strengthening. They want to attract players like Jude Bellingham, they need to pull their fingers out at the moment and try to finish in that top four because it could be a struggle.

“I still think he might go to Liverpool. I do think he might go to Liverpool. You look at Real Madrid’s midfield and you look at Liverpool’s midfield and it’s chalk and cheese.”

Could a summer transfer happen?

In our view, Liverpool are going to find it extremely tough to sign Jude Bellingham in the summer transfer window.

First of all, Dortmund will ask for a lot of money, potentially £120 million.

Would FSG be willing to spend that much money on a single player?

Then there are clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City who are keen on Bellingham.

Madrid regularly challenge for big trophies and will continue to do so, and so do City.

Liverpool do need a rebuild, especially in midfield and probably in defence.
