Compared to last January, when Villa were rushing in a frantic manner to get a goalkeeper, midfielder and striker through the door because of injury and relegation worries, they can relax easy this month.
But that hasn’t stopped them from dipping into the talent market and putting a number of highly-rated talents on their hit list, which has excited the Villa Park faithful.
The Mirror have claimed that the thriving Premier League outfit are interested in Bournemouth playmaker Brooks and highly-rated Reading teenager Olise.
A section of Villa supporters are liking what they are hearing and are especially keen on Reading’s rising star.
Villa have proven that they can nab potential and coach them to the next level, as has been proven by Douglas Luiz, John McGinn, Ezri Konsa and Ollie Watkins rise, to name a few.
