Gabriel Jesus has lavished praise on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The former Manchester City hitman has proven himself a revelation since joining the Gunners in a £45 million summer deal.
So far, the 25-year-old has netted four Premier League goals for top-of-the-table Arsenal, but he’s having a stunning all-round impact and supporters have fallen heads over heels for their new forward.
Whether it’s goals, assists, creating chances or demonstrating the sort of skills and ability that Brazilians are known for, Jesus is hitting all the right notes in North London.

And the player himself has credited Arteta – whom he worked with at Eastlands – as a prime factor behind his form.
He told ESPN Brasil: “I talked a lot with Arteta about Arsenal’s style. He knows me, I know him, I understood what he wanted from me. Now, I’m free on the pitch, playing football with a smile on my face and trying to do my best all the time.”
Questions were raised about Arsenal when they gave the Spanish manager a new £160,000-a-week contract last season [The Sun], despite missing out on Champions League qualification.
But Arteta’s plan at the Emirates Stadium is clearly beginning to bear fruit because they’re top of the Premier League standings after winning six of their opening seven outings.
The North Londoners are bang in form and Arteta deserves so much credit for this turnaround.
Arsenal are home to Tottenham on Saturday and another victory against their North London rivals will only enhance the goodwill that Arteta is rapidly building up.
