Speaking to Liverpool’s official club website, Diogo Jota has been waxing-lyrical about Luis Diaz after his fine run of form for the Reds.
The Colombian arrived towards the end of the January transfer window, and he’s been absolutely exceptional since joining the Merseyside club.
He’s taken to English football like a duck to water, and Jota believes that he’s a great fit for the Reds’ style of play.

Jota was full of praise for Diaz.
“I think it’s pretty much up to the player’s style. He just fits into the team, so that’s why he was a great signing from the club. The energy that he puts in every single moment is what we needed as well since January. He is just good for us, we know that we can rely on him to bring, every time that he walks on the pitch, such a high level of energy that is a characteristic of our team,” Jota said.

Liverpool play such a unique style, and it can be hard to find a player who will fit Jurgen Klopp’s system, but somehow, the Reds have managed to knock it out of the park yet again.
Diaz looks like he’s played under Klopp for years, and he absolutely deserves the praise he’s been receiving.
Diaz is a star of the present, but he could get even better in the future.
