Tottenham Hotspur fans were delighted to see Pierre Emile Hojbjerg up and running in training yesterday.
Back to full fitness
There had been some concerns that Hojbjerg would not be fit enough to feature for Spurs against Leeds United at the weekend.
The Danish midfielder had sat out of both his nation’s game over international break, after suffering with a knee issue.
However, Spurs’ official website posted a sneak peak into training yesterday and Hojbjerg featured prominently.
The enforcer could be seen partaking in every drill with no restrictions to his movement.
If he was carrying an injury issue it certainly didn’t show in the footage.
And Tottenham fans are now convinced that Hojbjerg will be available to start on Sunday, on what looks a major boost for the side.
Starting place guaranteed
If Hojbjerg is indeed fit then he will almost certainly take his place in Conte’s starting line-up.
Outside of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, Hojbjerg has arguably become Spurs’ most important outfield player.

He has started both of Conte’s games in charge to date, and has featured regularly ever since he joined from Southampton two seasons ago.
Tottenham have got off to a solid start under Conte so far, going unbeaten in their first two matches.
But they will be looking to get their first Premier League win under the Italian under their belts at the weekend.
If Spurs can beat Leeds they could move up as high as sixth in the table, providing other results go their way.
