Ray Parlour has said on talkSPORT (6:23am, October 7, 2022) that Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is very happy at the Gunners despite his lack of playing time.
The former Arsenal star made the comments about Nketiah following his performance for Mikel Arteta’s side against Bodo/Glimt at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening.
Nketiah scored for Arsenal midway through the first half.
The Gunners won the Group A match 3-0.
Ray Parlour on Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah
Parlour said about Nketiah: “He expects Jesus to be in front of him. He signed a good contract. He is very happy at Arsenal. He has got to bide his time now. He could be a real impact player off the bench.”

Staying positive
In our view, Eddie Nketiah is an important player for Arsenal, and we think that the 23-year-old former Leeds United loanee will play a part in the Gunners’ quest to be successful this season.
Yes, Gabriel Jesus is the number one striker at Arsenal now, but Arteta is unlikely to play him in each and every game.
Arsenal are playing in the UEFA Europa League this season, and there are also cup competitions.
So, in our opinion, Nketiah will get chances and playing time.
Nketiah has made eight substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season.
The English striker has scored two goals in two UEFA Europa League matches for the Gunners so far this campaign.
