West Ham striker Michail Antonio has stated that he is stronger than Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk, as he told Wingmen.
The hard-hitting West Ham player was bragging about the strength he possesses in his armoury.
When it was put to Antonio whether Van Dijk should be stronger than him, he simply responded by saying ‘no-one should’.
One thing is for sure, Antonio would be considered one of the more physical players in the Premier League and a player who is difficult to handle.
But even then, Van Dijk would back himself against the most, after all, he is probably the best centre-back in world football.
Nonetheless, when talk turned to strength, Antonio, who was in conversation with the strongest player on FIFA and Wycombe forward Adebayo Akinfenwa, he made this claim about his power.
“If Bayo (Akinfenwa) is 99 (strength) on FIFA, then man should be up there with man on 99,” said Antonio.
On what his strength should be: “Minimum 90. Nine Zero. minimum. Virgil (is a strong centre-back). He is strong.
On whether Van Dijk should be stronger than him: “No-one should be stronger than me. He’s (Van Dijk) strong. He is up there. Fernandinho is strong. Kurt Zouma is a strong guy. But I am talking about who is going to be stronger than me?
“No-one is stronger than me.”

Forget about Antonio’s strength, he has far better qualities than that in his locker, including the ability to get the best out of the players around him.
The £7 million player (Sky Sports) has been an outstanding servant to the Hammers and one of the most improved players in recent years.
A winger with a box of tricks has turned into an efficient goalscorer with high-quality movement.
David Moyes deserves huge credit for Antonio’s turnaround because it wasn’t so long ago that Slaven Bilic was playing him at right-back.
