Micah Richards has given his verdict on Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah after watching him in action against Brentford.
The former Manchester City star and Sky Sports pundit does not think that FSG should sell Salah at the end of the season.
So, what has Micah Richards said about Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah? Let’s take a look.
Micah Richards praises Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah
Well, Liverpool beat Brentford 4-1 away from home in the Premier League this past Saturday. Mohamed Salah came off the bench to provide an assist and score a goal. Tim Sherwood was impressed.
The 31-year-old was away on international duty with Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations and then had a spell on the sidelines with injury.
Former Manchester City star and Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards was impressed with Salah and does not think that Liverpool should sell him.

Richards said about Salah on The Rest is Football podcast: “How good is Mo Salah, though? He comes back from Afcon, he is injured, he does his hamstring, he gets a goal and an assist. He comes off the bench, he gets a goal and an assist like it is nothing. Players would dream to do that, he is such a special player, you know.
“I mean, there were talks of maybe the right time to flog him in the summer, but I just think he is so valuable to Liverpool.”
My View: Liverpool have to keep Mohamed Salah
In my opinion, Liverpool have to keep Mohamed Salah. I do not think that the club’s owners, the Fenway Sports Group, should sell the Egyptian forward in the summer transfer window.
Of course, every player has his price, but Salah is a world-class player who is at the top of his game at the moment. He is not showing any signs of slowing down.
Jurgen Klopp is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, and I do not think that it would be a good idea for the Reds to sell another club legend, Salah.
True, Salah is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of next season and he may not sign a new deal, but, from a sporting perspective, it would be better for the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners to let the former Chelsea player leave on a free than sell him in the summer of 2024.
