Darren Bent has said on talkSPORT that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur should sign Jordan Pickford from Premier League rivals Everton.
The former Tottenham striker believes that Pickford is ready to make a move from Everton to a bigger club.
Bent has noted that Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is starting to make mistakes.
And the talkSPORT pundit believes that that £110,000-a-week (SalarySport) England international goalkeeper Pickford would be a good signing for Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur told to sign Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford
Bent said about Pickford potentially moving to Tottenham: “Yeah, why not?
“Lloris, for me, he is obviously getting on now. Over the age of 30. He has started to make one or two more mistakes, so there is no reason why not Jordan Pickford.
“He is there, he is ready. Why would not take him at Spurs?”

Could a transfer happen?
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur could be able to sign Jordan Pickford from Everton, but only in the summer of 2023.
Not in the January transfer window.
Everton are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Things are not going well for Frank Lampard’s side at the moment.
So, there is no way that the Toffees are going to sell any of their best players in the middle of the season.
However, a move could happen next summer.
Pickford could be tempted to move to Tottenham and play for a team that challenge for the Premier League top four and play in the UEFA Champions League.
It would be a step-up in his career and would be progress.
