Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Marcelo Bielsa has been speaking about Mateusz Bogusz amid his strong performances out on loan in Spain.
Bogusz has been playing in the Spanish second division with UD Ibiza and it’s fair to say he’s doing well.
He’s got three goals and three assists in 12 games so far, and as you can imagine, the press have caught wind of his impressive form.
Inevitably, Bielsa was asked about the 21-year-old.
What’s been said?
Bielsa was seemingly impressed by Bogusz.
“Like you well said, he is performing well. He’s in the second division of Spain, which is an important level. Normally, his performances there and with the under-21s of Poland, they have him in good form. We analyse game to game and at the adequate moment the evaluations will be made and the adequate decision will be made,” Bielsa said.

A lot to prove
Bogusz may be playing well in Spain, but let’s not forget that this is the second division.
Yes, he’s doing the business at that level, but the Premier League is a completely different animal.
If he was to come back to Leeds, there’s no guarantee that his form would carry over, but if he continues to prove himself, it may be worth giving him a chance.
The young loanee is certainly a player worth keeping an eye on.
