Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson has been hugely impressed by Saliba.
The Sky Sports pundit has noted the attributes of the £190,000-a-week (Spotrac) defender that make him so special.
Dawson said about Saliba on Sky Sports News (1:12pm, October 7, 2023): “I just love the way he glides across the pitch.
“He is big, he is physical. Still only so young.
“He is never scared.
“He gets on the ball and plays it.”
My View: William Saliba will get even better
I believe that Arsenal and England international central defender William Saliba will get even better,
After all, Saliba is just 22 years of age now.
Even though he is so young, Saliba has already amassed a lot of experience.
The Frenchman was a regular for Nice and Marseille in France, and now he is one of the first names on the Arsenal teamsheet.
In my view, Saliba has the potential to become a world-class defender in the coming years.
