Kevin Hatchard has backed Antonio Nusa to fit into Ange Postecoglou’s all-action system at Tottenham Hotspur.

Sources have told HITC Football that Spurs have opened talks with Club Brugge over signing their highly-rated talent.

The 18-year-old is seen as one of the top prospects in Europe after shining in the Belgian Pro League and on the international stage with Norway.

European football expert Kevin Hatchard explained how Antonio Nusa is ‘great fun’ and ‘really exciting to watch’, as he told Transfer Talk on Sky Sports.

That’s exactly how you describe Tottenham’s style of play under Ange Postecoglou because they are one of the most free-flowing teams in the division.

It’s a sea-change from what the fans have been previously used to, as they are seeing plenty of attacking players thriving.

Well, could those at Hotspur Way be about to add another top talent to their ranks? If they do, then Kevin Hatchard is pretty excited for them.

Antonio Nusa at Tottenham

“He is great fun, really, really exciting to watch,” said Hatchard. “He has made a bit of a splash for Club Brugge.

“But mainly it’s been with Norway where he has caught the eye. You think some of the attacking talent they have got. Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard.

“There is this guy that turns up, on the left or the right, and he is leaving defenders a merry dance. What’s really interesting about him is that he can go inside and outside. Equally comfortable crossing and shooting on his left than he is on his right. That’s a nightmare to deal with for defenders.

“He has made tangible impacts in games. In big games for Norway – he is seen as somebody who is a rising star. Were he to go to Tottenham, with an attack-minded coach like Postecoglou, that could be a really good fit.”

Tottenham’s forward line

These opening six or so months from Postecoglou have been quite incredible. His style of play is clear, points are being accumulated and individual players are improving.

But what will be even more exciting for the Spurs fans is that he isn’t anywhere near his best.

You feel in around 18 months, after a few transfer windows, Postecoglou can say that his team is really starting to motor because, as of this moment, changes are still being made to the squad.

But once he has a squad full of his own players, and Nusa might be one of them, then can Tottenham fans really see what their team is worth.
