Rio Ferdinand has raved about Arsenal star Bukayo Saka on BBC One (3:20pm, November 21, 2022) for his performance for England against Iran at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
The former Manchester United defender believes that Arsenal attacker Saka was devastating, as England hammered Iran 6-2 in their opening Group B game on Monday.
The 21-year-old scored two goals for the Three Lions.

Ferdinand said: “He is devastating, the form he is in at the moment. He is at the top of the league with Arsenal, confidence is high.”
Impressive display
In our view, Bukayo Saka was superb for England against Iran and showed why he deserves to start regularly for the Three Lions as well as for Arsenal.
The attacker was sensational against Iran and was a constant problem for the the Asian team’s defence.
Every time Saka had the ball in possession, he tried to drive forward and take people on.
The Arsenal star is full of confidence now and is enjoying his football at the moment.
If England are to win the Qatar World Cup, then, in our view, Saka will have to be on top of his game throughout.
Like he was against Iran.
