Speaking on the Wrighty’s House Podcast, Ian Wright has been waxing-lyrical about Spain international and reported Liverpool target Pedri.
The 18-year-old has been one of the breakout stars of Euro 2020, and while La Liga fans have known for a some time now that he’s a top talent, he’s now announced himself on the world stage.
Pedri has been running games at the age of just 18, and Wright has been blown away by what he’s seen from the Spaniard.

Wright was speaking about Spain’s chances at Euro 2020 and he had nothing but good things to say about Pedri.
“Pedri is awesome, he is awesome. I said that he came from La Masia, but he actually came from Las Palmas for £5m, he is fabulous, he is a fabulous footballer,” Wright said.
What a player
It’s not too far-fetched to say that Pedri is one of the best teenagers in world football at the moment.
The youngster is one of the first names on the teamsheet for Barcelona and Spain, and unfortunately, that doesn’t bode well for Liverpool’s chances of signing him this summer.
Barcelona will be desperate to keep hold of their midfield maestro, and while they’re in a bit of a pickle financially, it will take something massive to convince them to part ways with him.
Liverpool reportedly want him, so this may be a situation to keep an eye on in the coming months.
