Lee Dixon has raved about Arsenal defender Ben White on talkSPORT (7:40am, October 3, 2022) following his performance against Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby this weekend.
Arsenal got the better of Tottenham 3-1 at home in the Premier League on Saturday.
White started at right-back, like he has been doing this season, and was superb against Spurs.
The former Leeds United loanee provided an assist and asked questions of the Arsenal defence.
And former Arsenal star Dixon was impressed.

Dixon said about White: “He has got a couple of things going for him. He is quick and he is hungry. And also he is intelligent and is still learning the game. He is an intelligent boy.”
Quality player
In our view, Ben White is one of the best players at Arsenal and has been brilliant for Mikel Arteta’s side so far this season.
William Saliba and Gabriel are the two centre-backs in the Gunners’ starting lineup at the moment, and White has been pushed out to play at right-back.
The 24-year-old is a centre-back by trade.
But he has done well at right-back so far and is really excelling in that role.
For Arsenal to be successful in the Premier League and in the UEFA Europa League this season, in our opinion, White has to be on top of his game throughout the campaign.
