Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard has raved about Gabriel Jesus for his performance against Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening, as quoted on BBC Sport.
Arsenal got the better of Bournemouth 3-0 in the league today.
Jesus, signed from defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer transfer window, was involved in Odegaard’s first goal and gave the assist for the Norway international attacking midfielder’s second.
Martin Odegaard on Arsenal teammate Gabriel Jesus
Odegaard said about Jesus after the match, as quoted on BBC Sport: “He is not just about goals. He gives us so much in the play and he drops down to combine. He is brilliant and he is amazing to play with. We are lucky to have him here.”
Making an immediate impact
Gabriel Jesus has been superb for Arsenal so far this season and has made an impact on the team straightaway.
The Brazil international striker is scoring goals, giving assists and creating chances.

Jesus is now producing complete performances as a striker and is a joy to watch.
The 25-year-old has scored two goals and given three assists in three Premier League appearances for Arsenal so far this season.
Arsenal are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and will also play in the UEFA Europa League.
For the Gunners to be successful in their quest, in our view, Jesus will have to continue to bang in the goals.
