Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski has told Football.London that Rodrigo Bentancur is a leader.
Kulusevski has expressed his sympathy for his Tottenham teammate and Uruguay international midfielder Bentancur following his long-term injury.
The 22-year-old Sweden international has said that Bentancur is positive despite his serious injury, adding that everyone at Juventus will now support him.
As reported by BBC Sport, Bentancur will not play for Tottenham again this season due to a serious knee injury.
The 25-year-old picked up the injury while playing for Spurs against Leicester City in the Premier League this past weekend.
Bentancur and Kulusevski played together at Juventus as well.

Kulusevski said about Bentancur: “Rodrigo is so strong on the pitch off the pitch as well.
“He’s so positive even after this. I’m so shocked how positive he is. He will come back stronger and I wish him all the best.”
The winger added: “He is a leader on the pitch and off the pitch and we are so sorry for him. Sometimes things like this happen and we have to support him.”
Big loss
In our view, the injury to Rodrigo Bentancur is a big blow for Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
The North London club are also in the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League this season.
Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte has already said that he plans to use youngsters Oliver Skipp and Pape Matar Sarr, as Spurs prepare to take on AC MIlan in the UEFA Champions League.
However, Bentancur will be missed severely.
After all, the 25-year-old is one of the best and most important players in the current Tottenham team.
