Speaking on the LadBible YouTube channel, Sir Alex Ferguson has been raving over reported Celtic manager target Eddie Howe.
If reports are to be believed, Howe could be in line to be the next Celtic boss, and Ferguson believes that the Bhoys would be getting a good manager if they appoint Howe.
Ferguson was asked if any young managers in football have impressed him, to which he replied:
“In terms of young managers, Eddie Howe had a great period at Bournemouth for a young manager, and I think he did very well. Even though he got relegated, that’s not to say he’s not a good manager, he is a good manager.”

Ferguson certainly isn’t wrong about Howe.
Yes, he may have been relegated from the Premier League with Bournemouth, but let’s not forget that he took them from League One to the top-flight.
Whether or not Howe would be a success at Celtic remains to be seen. After all, he did struggle at Burnley earlier in his managerial career.
Celtic are in need of a new manager, and if reports are to be believed, Howe could be that man.
You don’t earn a glowing review from Alex Ferguson unless you’ve got something about you, so these words should have Celtic supporters rather excited.
