According to The Athletic, Nottingham Forest are considering Nuno Espirito Santo to replace Steve Cooper as the pressure piles on the Welshman.
The East Midlands club have been absolutely awful this season, they sit at the bottom of the league after just one win in eight games, and thus, the manager is under pressure.
There may well be a change in the City Ground dugout soon, and according to one report, Nuno could be the incumbent gaffer on the River Trent.
This appointment may split the fanbase after the Portuguese manager’s poor spell at Tottenham, but if Nuno is hired, that may well be music to the ears of one Forest player – Morgan Gibbs-White.

Gibbs-White is a fan of Nuno
The midfielder has previously been on the record about how much he admires Nuno during their time together at Wolves.
“He’s a team manager, he helps us get together, even if things are going badly he will bring us back together and make sure the vibe is very positive,” Gibbs-White told Sky Sports.
“You might think because half of us are English and half are Portuguese there could be a divide, but there’s not – we all get on very well and Nuno is the main leader with that. He helps us get together and socialise with each other.
“We work hard in training and in games and our shape is key too. It’s hard to break us down and then going forward we are good on the counter-attack.”
Will have a key role
If Nuno comes to Nottingham, then Gibbs-White will surely have a key role to play under his former manager.
These two worked well together during their time together at Wolves when Gibbs-White was just a teenager and now that he’s matured and improved, Nuno may relish a reunion.
Gibbs-White is Forest’s record signing and perhaps hiring Nuno is the key to getting the best out of the creative midfielder.
