Chelsea fans on Twitter have had their say after reported West Ham and Aston Villa target, Tammy Abraham, was left out of their FA Cup matchday squad on Saturday.

The Telegraph have previously cited the likes of West Ham and Villa as fresh destinations for the England international amid his lack of game time at Stamford Bridge.

With a new manager comes the norm of those players, who weren’t selected regularly before, being picked once again – Antonio Rudiger – and those who were regularly picked now finding themselves out of the picture – step forward, Abraham.

And that was proven yesterday when a fully-fit Abraham failed to make the cut for a Chelsea team that knocked Manchester City out of the FA Cup.

In truth, with Chelsea one point outside of the top four, in the Champions League semi-finals and now the FA Cup final after that win against Manchester City, these ruthless calls by Thomas Tuchel are paying off.

And whilst some Chelsea fans feel for Abraham given his current situation, it does open the door for those potential suitors at the London Stadium and at Villa Park.

Abraham’s obvious destination would be B6 given that he was on-loan there two seasons ago, he thrived with players who are still there now and the manager walking the touchline.

But with the Hammers potentially heading towards Europe, that might just lure Abraham further down the road in London rather than heading down the motorway to Birmingham.

Either way, Abraham being left out, despite being fully fit, has perhaps put the writing on the wall in regards to the Englishman’s future in West London.

Here is a selection of Chelsea fans reacting to Tuchel leaving Abraham out:
