Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that Liam Cooper has recovered from his injury and is now in a fit state to be involved against Burnley.
The Scotland international missed the Whites’ game against Tottenham last week due to injury after serving a three-match ban for a red card he got against Manchester City.
Fortunately for Leeds, Cooper is back in good health and ready to play against Burnley.
“He has recovered his health, he hasn’t got any injuries that prevent him from participating,” Bielsa said.

It’s great to hear that Cooper is available, but will he play against Burnley?
He’s not featured for Leeds in any of their last four fixtures, so his match sharpness is bound to have dipped a little bit, while Pascal Struijk and Diego Llorente have formed something of a formidable partnership in his absence.
Some Leeds fans certainly don’t want to see Cooper put straight back into the XI, but the Scot is one of Bielsa’s favourites. After all, he is the club captain.
Whether or not Cooper features against Burnley remains to be seen, but Bielsa has confirmed that he’s fit and healthy, so don’t be shocked if he has a part to play.
