Jamie Redknapp told Sky Sports (22/08/21 at 7:50 pm) that rumoured Arsenal target Yves Bissouma ‘has got everything’ in his game.
The TV pundit claimed that Bissouma is in the ‘form of his life’ after he helped Brighton record a 2-0 win against Watford over the weekend – it maintains their 100% start to the new Premier League season.
Bissouma has been someone who has been on Arsenal fans lips for a long time now and he’s a player that would be more than welcome in Mikel Arteta’s struggling midfield.
There were even previous suggestions that the £30 million-rated player would want a move to Arsenal, given that he is a boyhood Gooner, once again, news that would be music to the ears for those in North London.
Redknapp thinks someone like Bissouma will eventually move to a bigger club given his talents and Brighton are a team that wouldn’t stand in his way.
“He’s in a great position,” said Redknapp. “He has got 18 months left on his contract. In the form of his life.
“If he carries on like this then there will be clubs all around Europe wanting to enquire about his qualities.
“Brighton are clever. They run it the right way. They know if they have a player that is that good and wants to go on and achieve, play in the Champions League, then they won’t stand in his way.
“You are going to get top money for this fella. He has got everything. You would hate to play against him. He would be all over you and he has got fantastic skills as well.”

Arsenal have already dipped into the South Coast pond and snapped up Ben White’s talents this summer, so they should have Brighton’s number on speed dial.
Some may question given that Bissouma would welcome a move to Arsenal, why they wouldn’t try to sign him up because he would walk straight into their team.
But given that the Gunners have stock-piled players at their club, and as a result, they are eating away at the wage bill, it’s hard to then add more fresh faces to their team.
Arsenal fans will no doubt rue the day Bissouma moves elsewhere because it’s only a matter of time before someone snaps up his talents.
