Tim Sherwood has raved about Arsenal and France international central defender William Saliba on talkSPORT (8:40am, November 15, 2022).
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager believes that Saliba has been outstanding for Arsenal so far this season.
Sherwood made the comments about the 21-year-old France international defender while explaining his reason for including him in his Premier League Team of the Season so far.

The pundit said about Saliba: “Saliba, I think he has been brilliant since he has come back from loan from France. He has been outstanding with Gabriel at the centre of Arsenal’s defence.”
Impressive
In our view, Arsenal star William Saliba is one of the best young defenders in the Premier League and has been superb for the Gunners so far this season.
The 21-year-old has established himself as a key figure in manager Mikel Arteta’s team and is now one of the first names on the Gunners’ teamsheet.
Saliba has been so good that Arteta is playing Ben White at right-back now.
White played at centre-back last season and was brilliant.
Now, of course, we must not forget that Saliba is only 21 now, so we must be patient with him and allow him time and room to grow and develop at his own pace.
Saliba has scored two goals and provided one assist in 14 Premier League matches for Arsenal so far this season.
