Tim Sherwood has raved about Newcastle United star Nick Pope on talkSPORT (8:39am, November 15, 2022), and believes that he has been the best goalkeeper in the Premier League so far this season.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager has said that Pope has been outstanding for Newcastle so far this campaign.
Sherwood made the comments about the England international goalkeeper while including him in the Premier League Team of the Season so far.
Pope joined Newcastle from Burnley in the summer of 2022 for £10 million (Sky Sports).
The 30-year-old has established himself as the number one goalkeeper at Newcastle and is also part of the England squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.

Sherwood said: “I am going with Pope in goal. I think he has been outstanding. I think he has been great.”
