Graham Roberts says a ‘Rangers man’ is needed at Ibrox… and he would take the job himself.

Former Rangers star Graham Roberts has called on the club to appoint a man with prior connections to the club as they seek to fill the current vacancy.
Their gamble on Pedro Caixinha did not pay off, and Rangers are still looking for a replacement after firing him last month.
Roberts was quizzed by a fan what he thought of the club’s current predicament, and responded by saying he believes a ‘Rangers man’ is needed.

He added that he would even take the job himself if offered – as he knows how to beat Celtic.
Roberts’ last job in club management was at Scottish club Clyde, where the highlight was a memorable upset over Celtic, still regarded as one of the Glasgow club’s worst ever results.
Roberts has not managed since 2012, and is not serious about becoming a contender for the Rangers post, but he certainly believes that his former club need a manager who knows the club well.
This could include ex-Gers manager Alex McLeish, or former player Derek McInnes, who are the top two current favourites with SkyBet to land the post.
