Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told the club’s official website that Thomas Partey suffered an injury against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday evening.
Arteta has said that he is concerned abut the injury that the Arsenal defensive midfielder suffered in the London derby against Palace.
The Gunners lost the Premier League game 3-0.
Partey had to come off in the second half.
Arsenal boss Arteta has also suggested that left-back Kieran Tierney could be out for the long term.

Arteta said about Tierney: “He’s seeing a specialist tomorrow and we will know more about the extent of the injury then, but the feeling that he had it wasn’t really positive and what the scan showed either, but we will have to wait and see what happens.
The Arsenal boss said about Partey: “I don’t know, but he felt something in the same area that he got injured previously, so it’s a big concern.”

Bad news
In our opinion, the injury situation of Tierney and Partey is bad news for Arsenal in their quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
Yes, Partey did not play well in the London derby on Monday night, but he has been doing well in recent weeks.
If the Ghana international defensive midfielder is out for the next few weeks, then it could adversely affect Arsenal’s chances of finishing in the Premier League top four.
We saw against Palace how much Arsenal struggled on the left side without Tierney.
Nuno Tavarez is a good left-back, but he is not at the level of Tierney.
Not yet anyway.
