The Tottenham Hotspur manager has worked wonders during his time in charge of the north London outfit.

Tottenham assistant manager Jesus Perez sat down for an exclusive interview with Football.London, suggesting that Mauricio Pochettino does not teach players, and instead proposes scenarios, providing them with a platform to improve.
Spurs have been totally transformed as a football club since Pochettino was handed the reigns in the summer of 2014, and they are now widely considered to be genuine challengers for major honours, both domestically and on the continent.
The Argentine has implemented a wonderfully exciting, attacking brand of football at Tottenham, and they are arguably one of the Premier League’s best sides to watch.
Perez, who has been Poch’s lieutenant during his four-and-a-half year spell at Spurs, highlighted how the Argentine doesn’t teach players, but provides them with a platform to succeed, as quoted by Football.London:

“He doesn’t teach players. He proposes to the player a scenario, a platform to improve. If they take it they will improve. It’s just practising and having the backing of your manager. That’s how you improve.”
Tottenham play host to Chelsea in the Premier League tonight, and they will be desperate for all three points, as they look to keep the pressure up on those above them in the table.
And Perez and Poch will have left no stone unturned in preparation for the visit of the Blues.
