Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to react after Divock Origi scored a dramatic late winner for Liverpool in the 1-0 win over Wolves.
What’s the story?
Well, the £60,000-a-week man gave Liverpool a huge boost in the Premier League title race with a 93rd minute winner at Molineux.
It’s not the first time Origi has saved Liverpool, and it surely won’t be the last.
You may remember the Belgian scoring twice against Barcelona to send the Reds into the Champions League final in 2019, where he then netted the winner against Tottenham.
Origi also scored a late winner against Everton at Anfield that season, a campaign in which he also netted another late winner away to Newcastle.
It’s a habit that Gary Lineker picked up on after full-time – you can see the BBC Match of the Day host’s tweet in full below.
Origi’s knack of dragging Liverpool over the line late on is quite unbelievable – he is a massive player for Jürgen Klopp.
Liverpool vs Wolves showcased title credentials

On days like today, where Liverpool weren’t really at their best, you need players like Origi to step up and do something special.
It’s a hallmark of champions to grab three points, even when things aren’t going your way.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United did it countless times over the years, and Origi is turning out to be Klopp’s version of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Ferguson threw the Norwegian onto the field late on many times, and he often came up clutch for the Scot, famously in the 1999 Champions League final.
Origi, even when he isn’t exactly in good form, does the same for Klopp.
Players like him are invaluable in a title race – as far as the term super sub goes, Origi is embodying it right now.
