Jeff Stelling told Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports (24/04/21 at 12:50 pm) that Stan Kroenke ‘doesn’t care’ about the Arsenal supporters.
The Sky presenter was also left ‘scratching his head’ at Josh Kroenke’s recent comments after he claimed that the ‘global fans’ want to see Arsenal v Barcelona rather than Arsenal v Stoke.
After the fiasco surrounding the European Super League, Kroenke JR shared that Arsenal joined the soon-to-be-defunct Super League because they felt the fans wanted those big games, as he told a supporters forum.
Stelling was seemingly baffled by Kroenke Jnr’s comments and slammed his father for his lack of care towards supporters.
“I thought credit to Josh Kroenke for holding a supporters forum,” laughed Stelling.
“It made me scratch my head. The global fans want to see Arsenal against Barca (on Kroenke’s comments) but I don’t think that’s what the Barca fans want to see that, do they? Do the Arsenal fans want to see that?
“Stan Kroenke moved the St Louis Rams, he moved them to LA, 1800 miles away. He doesn’t care about the supporters.
“This is the club that announced 55 redundancies, in the midst of Coronavirus when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was negotiating a new contract.
“This is a club that sacked Gunnersaurus, it’s not the classiest of looks, is it?”

Spotify owner Daniel Ek has claimed that he wants to buy Arsenal – and such news will be music to the ears of Arsenal supporters.
Even before the ESL saga blew up last week, Arsenal supporters wanted the Kroenke’s out of the Emirates exit door and now that fire has been lit once more.
Protests before Arsenal’s defeat to Everton on Friday is just a small snippet of what’s coming the owner’s way because, once fans are allowed into the stadiums, then it could turn into total chaos.
This isn’t just a few weeks or months worth of anger that Arsenal fans want to vent. This is a decade+ of decline that has seen Arsenal go from invincibles to invisibles on the pitch.
