A stunning William Saliba goal for Arsenal on Saturday helped the Gunners move top of the Premier League standings at the time.
Mikel Arteta’s outfit thumped Bournemouth 3-0 away from home to move to the summit of the division.
Everything appears to be going right for Arsenal right now, having won their first three Premier League encounters for the first time since 2004.
This is exemplified by Saliba’s goal, with the towering centre-back – on his weaker left foot – finding the top corner from outside the box.
It was such a perfect, sumptuous strike that teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko raised both hands to his head and dropped to his knees in disbelief.
Here’s what Ian Wright told Premier League Productions about Zinchenko’s reaction: “Weaker foot, he’s a centre-half. He starts his Premier League career and he [Zinchenko] has seen him to do that. He can’t believe it! Brilliant. That’s brilliant.”

Gabriel Jesus had a similar reaction as the Ukraine international, as covered by HITC Sport.
And this is significant because both players were signed from Manchester City this summer.
Heaven only knows what type of brilliance the duo have observed in Pep Guardiola’s training sessions down the years.
So for Zinchenko and Jesus to be as stunned as they were really sums up William Saliba’s goal for Arsenal, it has to be said.
