Harry Redknapp has claimed that Everton new signing Donn van de Beek can ‘really play’, as he told talkSPORT.
Prior to Van de Beek loan move from Manchester United to Everton was confirmed on deadline day, Redknapp was bigging up the player and how there is talent in his boots.
Frank Lampard was the man confirmed to replace the unpopular Rafa Benitez in the Goodison Park dugout during a hectic ending of the January transfer window.
Added with Van de Beek’s arrival, Dele Alli was the man who also joined the Merseyside club from Spurs.
On the morning of deadline day, Redknapp was reacting to the news of Van de Beek to Everton and this is what he had to say.
“His career needs resurrecting,” said Redknapp. “He has had a poor time at Manchester United. Never played. His confidence is probably low.
“But there is a footballer there. We saw him before he came over from Ajax. He can really play. Now it’s up for Frank to get the best out of him.”

The mood around Goodison Park has been pretty low for a number of months now, but that tide seems to be changing.
The Everton fans seem to be pretty happy with Lampard’s arrival and the new signings have also received a positive reaction also.
With both Van de Beek and Dele Alli, the Everton fans have got two players who are hungry to prove their worth.
And that’s what Everton need right now, players ready to kick and punch everything that comes in their way because they are determined to get through to the other side.
