Glenn Hoddle told Optus Sport on Premier League Productions that Arsenal speedster, Bukayo Saka, can ‘play everywhere’.
On Sunday, Mikel Arteta deployed the England international as a number 10, as Arsenal recorded a comfortable 3-0 win at Sheffield United.
From playing at left-back, on the wings and in the pockets, there is no end to Saka’s talents.
But former Premier League midfielder, Paul Ince, feels that’s a ‘problem’ in his game because he needs to nail down a single position.
“Saka playing in that pocket and getting more involved,” said Hoddle. “Sometimes we are seeing him playing out wide, left wing-back, he can play on the right and he can play everywhere. But now, we are seeing him just in that little pocket.”
Ince added: “That’s the problem. Someone like Saka, who is so young, he is playing in so many different positions. He should get his own designated position.
“But that’s the one for him (as a number 10) and he looks like he is really flowing in that position.”

It will be interesting to see if Saka’s versatility lands him a plane ticket to this summers Euros.
The key thing is that he is in Gareth Southgate’s plans, and if it wasn’t for an injury over the international break, then he would have featured for England.
But it is pretty worrying, from Arsenal’s perspective, that in their biggest game of the season on Thursday, they are relying on their teenage talent to be fit and to produce the goods.
