Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has told the club’s official website that Mohamed Salah will be able to return to training very shortly.

Salah missed Liverpool’s game against Leicester City, but has now recovered from illness.

And Klopp says that Salah should be back in time to train with his Liverpool teammates ahead of his side’s match against Atalanta on Wednesday evening.

“Tomorrow we have the UEFA testing for the Champions League and I am pretty sure he will be in that,” Klopp said.

“He can now train with us tomorrow, that’s it. He will have two tests in the next two days, so, yes, he will be tested like all of us.”

Salah’s return to Liverpool will be a major boost, as they are without so many key players at the moment.

The Reds didn’t actually miss the Egyptian too much last night, as they stormed to a 3-0 win over Leicester City.

Liverpool still looked a huge attacking threat, which shows the depth of quality they now have in their squad.

But with Salah back they should be even more dangerous in the coming weeks.

Liverpool’s next domestic game comes against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
