Speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel, Ollie Watkins has once again been raving about Aston Villa star Jack Grealish.
Watkins was appearing on a podcast with Ferdinand, and as with any Aston Villa related discussion, the conversation eventually turned towards Grealish.
The midfielder has been one of the best players in the Premier League this term and Watkins has unsurprisingly been full of praise for him.
“When he’s on my team I always look to give him the ball, because he can do things that no-one else can really. That’s no disrespect to anyone else, but everyone knows that, so that’s why he gets the ball and why we give him the ball so much because he can do things no-one else can, so I know when he’s got the ball I’ve just got to make a run and he’ll find me,” Watkins said.
The striker then went on to speak about the relationship he has with his teammate, claiming that they don’t actually speak too much about their plans.
“We don’t speak too much about how we’re going to play, but that’s what I like about it. We have a good relationship.”
Watkins isn’t telling us anything we don’t already know here.
Grealish is truly a one of a kind player in terms of the things he can do on the ball, and that’s what makes him so good.
He dribbles unlike any other player, he’s so hard to knock off the ball, and he’s also deceptively quick.
The Villa star is a very unique player, and the Midlands club are lucky to have such a talent on their hands.
