Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Bruno Guimaraes has been discussing Allan Saint-Maximin.
The Newcastle United star was discussing some of his teammates’ FIFA ratings, and he correctly predicted that Saint-Maximin would be classed as the Magpies’ fastest player on the game.
Aside from being a speedster, Guimaraes also noted that Saint-Maximin is one of the most skillful players at St James’ Park, stating that he’s able to do things that other players can’t with the ball, describing him as an ‘amazing’ player.
Guimaraes praises Saint-Maximin
The Brazilian had nothing but good things to say about his teammate.
“Allan is the skill man. He can do things that other players can’t, he is an amazing player. I love to play with him, he is an amazing player and we speak to each other in French and that is nice. Yeah, we just speak in French on the pitch because of my English. He is an amazing player, he was my first mate here and I love to play with him,” Guimaraes said.

Guimaraes is absolutely right about Saint-Maximin, this is a footballer who, quite simply, can do things that most other players can only dream of.
The Frenchman is one of the fastest, trickiest players in the Premier League, and while his feet are quick, his mind moves even quicker.
He always knows how to get out of tight corridors, and while his end product may be lacking, he’s still an absolute joy to watch each and every time he steps out onto the pitch.
He’s clearly also an asset in the dressing room as Guimaraes notes that he was the first friend he made on Tyneside, so that is another bonus of having Saint-Maximin in the squad.
Newcastle are very lucky to have a player like this, that’s for sure.
