Tottenham Hotspur fans are calling for Carlos Vinicius to start on Thursday against Ludogorets.

Vinicius has been picked in Tottenham’s starting line-up for both of their Europa League matches to date, but he has had mixed success.

The Brazilian’s debut was a roaring success, as he claimed two assists in a comfortable victory for Spurs against LASK.

However, Vinicius was hooked off at half-time as Tottenham were beaten 1-0 by Antwerp in their last European match.

Football London now report that Vinicius was left out of Tottenham’s squad at the weekend entirely due to tactical reasons on Sunday evening, when they took on Brighton & Hove Albion.

And Spurs fans feel that now is the perfect time for a fully rested Vinicius to be included again on Thursday.

If Vinicius does play in midweek the pressure will be on him to impress.

Mourinho hammered his fringe players after Tottenham’s last Europa League game, and the Portuguese boss will surely be expecting a much improved performance against Ludogorets.

The Bulgarian side have failed to take any points from their first two European games this season, and Spurs go into the match as heavy favourites to pick up the victory.
