According to Planet Sport, Arsenal are interested in a summer move for Richarlison.

The Gunners’ Brazilian Sporting Director, Edu, is apparently a big fan of his fellow countryman, and he’s apparently lining up a summer move for the attacker.

Richarlison isn’t having the best of times this season, but as we’ve seen in the past, he’s a very talented footballer.

In fact, he’s even caught the eye of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry in the past.

What’s Henry said?

Speaking to Amazon Prime earlier this season, Henry had good things to say about Richarlison, claiming that he will eventually start scoring goals.

“He is (very important) because he battles, We have seen that he sometimes goes over the limit and that does generate something for the crowd,” Henry said.

“He runs in behind. He is willing to take people on and he will eventually score goals. Everyone needs that.”

Potential

Richarlison hasn’t thrived in this Everton team this season, but to be fair, who has?

The Brazilian has so much potential, and if Thierry Henry can see something within you, you must be a decent footballer.

The fact that the Toffees’ forward has 32 caps for Brazil shows you just how talented he is, and at the age of just 24, he can still improve so much.

Arsenal would be wise to bring Richarlison to the club, especially if he’s available at a cut-price fee upon Everton’s potential relegation.
