Jermaine Beckford has told Sky Sports that reported Leeds United target Adama Traore ‘annoys’ him.
The TV pundit was making reference to the fact that Traore only has one Premier League assist to his name this season even though ‘everybody knows how good he is’.
Eurosport have claimed that Leeds are keen on the Barcelona academy product.
It would be pretty interesting to see Traore burning the flanks and putting opposition player’s on their backside under Marcelo Bielsa because he would cause some serious damage under his system.
Well, ex-Leeds hitman, Beckford is a big admirer of the Wolves winger even though he is inconsistent.
“He annoys me,” said Beckord. “The reason he annoys me is that he is so quick, explosively quick, one of the quickest players I think I have ever seen off the mark and over five, ten and 15 meters.
“But he’s so inconsistent and that’s what frustrates me as a fan of his. But also his teammates, the manager and the fans of Wolves as well.
“Everybody knows how good he is in terms of the quality he can possess and that he does possess.
“But again, it’s just seeing it on that consistent basis. Leave him one on one with the defender, you will not see his fullback overlapping because there’s no point. He will get past his player regardless of who it is.”

Traore is missing his partner in crime and Wolves’ main focal point up front – Raul Jimenez.
The former Aston Villa player proved last season that if he has that figure up top then he can do the business for his side.
Perhaps that can come in the form of a certain Patrick Bamford, if he were to make the switch to Yorkshire, because those two would build quite the partnership.
